APPROACH TO TREATMENT

My first goal is to get to know you. In the beginning, we focus on understanding you, your values, your strengths, and your areas of growth. As a human being there are multiple intersecting aspects of your identity, your life experiences, your physical health, and your functional abilities that have shaped your life. Each of my clients are uniquely themselves and so are you. Second, I want you to get to know me because it’s important that you work with someone you trust. Together, we collaboratively develop a plan to help you get unstuck and to move forward in life. My therapeutic approach integrates several evidence based treatments including:

  • Mindfulness-Based interventions and principles
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy
  • Motivational Interviewing
